Event: Work Accommodations: The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)

Join us on February 28, 2018 from 7:15 – 8:45 p.m. at Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance San Francisco’s Education Night. We will be presenting a video “Understanding Employees and Job Applicants with Psychiatric Disabilities”, followed by Q+A.

Using real life examples, “Understanding Employees and Job Applicants with Psychiatric Disabilities” presents both employee and employer points of view about reasonable accommodations. There is also a psychiatrist and a psychologist discussing medical and vocational insights and a Federal ADA expert discussing Federal Guidelines and Policies. This video has been recognized by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s (SAMHSA) as an effective national anti-discrimination/anti-stigma campaign.
