Event: Work Accommodations: The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) at San Francisco Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance

Topic: PWDF will be presenting our training video “Understanding Employees and Job Applicants with Psychiatric Disabilities,” followed by Q & A.  Using real life examples, “Understanding Employees and Job Applicants with Psychiatric Disabilities” presents both employee and employer points of view about reasonable accommodations.

The main learning objectives and presentation goals are to 1) identify issues in returning to work for individuals with psychiatric disabilities; 2) be able to describe potential reasonable accommodation strategies; and 3) recognize the legal rights and obligations of employees and employers.

PWDF Legal Director Steven Bruce, Esq., will be the speaker. The workshop is free and open to the public.
