A couple news items have caught our interest at People With Disabilities Foundation (PWDF). The 21st Century Cures Act has been signed into law, promising greater access to mental health services provided Congress approves future funding.[1] We were impressed by an article in The New York Times that reported on two studies that showed that psilocybin, an ingredient in hallucinogenic mushrooms, reduced depression and anxiety in cancer patients.

Who We Are

People With Disabilities Foundation is an operating 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in San Francisco, California, which focuses on the rights of the mentally and developmentally disabled.
